Community Diversity & Business Development Summit  Tuesday May 12th 2009 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  An evening reception will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.   The 5th Annual Business Development & Community Diversity Day Summit is being held with the theme “Restoring Economic Times”.  At this event, there will be valuable information on; Federal Stimulus Funding—Find Where the Money Is?, Jobs—Where Are They Now, and Resume Reviews.  Vendors and Exhibitors are welcomed. 2nd Annual Spring Bacchanalia
April 25, 2009 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Benefiting Economics on the Move (EOTM), the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Africa Project,  Orangewood PALS & other Bacehus supported charities. This annual event is being held at the Orange County Pavilion.  This year’s Bacchanalia event promises to be a whole lot of fun!  You will arrive at the O.C. Pavilion and greeted with a complimentary valet.  As you check in, you will be handed a flute of French champagne.  You will be given a choice from the finest French champagne houses such as Perrier Jouet, Carles Krug, GH Mumm , Gloria Ferrer and many others.  After you have your champagne, you will be escorted to a nearby elevator where you will take a short ride to the Five-Star Ambrosia Restaurant.  There you will tour theme rooms filled with assorted wines for you to sample.        You may also participate in a wonderful silent auction with available  items that include every wine featured at the Bacchanalia.  Hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening.

In addition, there will be live music featuring ”Emilio” in the 525- seat Pavilion Theater from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  There will also be several raffles for other fine gifts.

One Colorado Open Market Art and Design 
Sunday, May 3, 2009 10:00 a.m. to 5;00 p.m. Now in its seventh year and featuring more than 100 artist, the Art & Design open market is an unparalleled gathering of talented Art Center College of Design and Pasadena City College students, alumni, faculty and staff. The Art & Design Open market is being held in the Courtyard of the One Colorado Building in Old Pasadena.  This is a rare opportunity to purchase exceptional contemporary art, sculpture, prints and photography by emerging artists.  Al work is original, one-of-a-kind and created by the artist themselves.  The largest of its kind, this market is one of the few in the country to offer free space to event participants with  100 percent tof the proceeds going directly to the artist.
