L.A. City Council President Herb Wesson, Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson, and Curren Price commit to collaboration to bring more resources and programs to South L.A.
“Collectively, the three of us represent one of the most powerful times for African Americans. Unity is important and we’re trying to set that example and hope our constituents will too. Together we’re much stronger and can do much more,” said Wesson.
Today’s collective celebration of the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Leimert Park Village is a reflection of this commitment to the African American community and the City of Los Angeles.
