The History of Funk 

Author, scholar, educator and radio host Dr. Rickey Vincent will provide attendees with insight into the history, culture and politics of funk music.  He holds a h.D in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley and is the author of “Funk:  The Music, The People and the Rhythm of The One”.
